If you agree with Robert's ideas and beliefs, please get involved and help make this cause a reality in Congress. We must have financial support to compete with those who willingly pursue and take PAC money and lobbyist money. Robert has pledged to not take PAC money or lobbyist money. This puts him at a great disadvantage to the other candidates in this race. The other Democratic candidates who have raised the most money are willingly and gladly pursuing and accepting PAC money and lobbyist money. One other Democratic candidate took $16,000 in PAC money and $4,000 in lobbyist money in the month of December alone. If you truly wish to see our system cleaned up and rid of PAC and lobbyist money, the only way to do it is to elect people who refuse to participate in such unethical fundraising. You can also help by hosting a house party with your neighbors and friends, to help others hear Robert's views and to give your neighbors and friends a chance to donate to this cause. We must grow the campaign in this way, since we have no intention of competing with the other candidates in a race to see who can simply raise the most money through any means possible. This campaign is about ideas and ethics. We intend to raise as much money as we can ethically and prove that a candidate with the best beliefs and ideas can be elected without owing powerful people in Washington before the election is even held.
We promise that we will stretch every dollar as far as possible. Everyone who works on our campaign is a volunteer. All of the money goes to promoting the ideas and beliefs that you have read and heard here.
We have started a fundraising drive for the remainder of March. It is urgent that we raise all of the money we can in March. Please give what you can give.
