Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and show your interest in my candidacy. I am pleased to use this site to provide a more detailed explanation of my positions than that usually offered in a political campaign. For too long career politicians have fed voters with meticulously calculated vague and superficial statements on the issues. These statements offer little to the voter but empty boilerplate and soundbite. I believe the voters deserve to know more about where a candidate stands. Take a look at my positions on the issues and compare them with those of the other candidates in this race, should you be successful in tracking them down.
You may not agree with me on all the issues, and I would not expect any two people to agree on everything. What is important is that you know where I stand on these critical issues. Even with issues such as abortion and gay marriage, you will find that my positions stem from a fundamental belief that the government has no place dictating the private, personal affairs of Americans. I believe that there is much that our government can do to better the lives of Americans, and I will work hard with that goal in mind. Thanks for giving serious consideration to my candidacy.
